Module 01 · Cadastral mapping¶

The module displays Swiss real estate on a map, based on official cadastral data. It forms the foundation of bat-id: the other modules rely on the parcels declared here.

Functions¶

• Official referencing — retrieves parcels via the cantonal cadastral APIs (swisstopo, RDPPF). Covers all 26 cantons.
• Adding a parcel — selection of canton, municipality and parcel. Geometry and area come from the official reference data, with no re-entry.
• Building data — imports address, year, area, floors and heating from the Swiss official survey.
• Overview — groups the parcels of a portfolio on a single map, including across cantons.
• Search — by parcel number, municipality or canton.
• Personal label — allows naming a parcel ("Chalet", "Rental building") without altering the official data.

Details¶

• Official data is sometimes incomplete: fields without a value remain empty.
• The parcel serves as an anchor point: the Land monitoring, the Territorial intelligence and the documents in the Cloud are attached to it.
