Module 01 · Territorial geoinformation

Live

The module allows a municipality to produce geographic shapes (sectors, perimeters, points of interest) and to distribute them, both to its residents on their parcel map and to the general public on the municipality's website.

Functions

  • Data feeding — import of a file, connection to a mapping server URL (WFS / OGC) or direct drawing on the map.
  • Format compatibility — QGIS / GeoJSON and Esri formats supported; the Swiss projections LV95 and LV03 are converted automatically; the source is retained for resynchronisation.
  • Time validity — each shape carries a start and an end date; it is displayed and removed automatically upon expiry.
  • Pictograms by theme — coloured badges by category (hazard, works, info, environment, tourism), visible in the list and on the map.
  • Target audience — classification of shapes: all owners, the whole population, year-round resident, secondary resident, tourism, agricultural.
  • Public distribution via embed — interactive map that can be embedded in the municipality's website via an iframe, read-only, with no installation on the visitor's side.
  • Feedback to bat-id holders — the valid shapes appear on the map of bat-id holders who own a parcel in the municipality.

Details

  • bat-i aggregates the shapes without re-hosting the cartography: the municipality remains the owner of its data.
  • The public embed is read-only and distributes only the valid shapes; on the administrator's side, expired shapes remain visible to steer publication.
  • The target audience is a classification label, not a strict visibility filter.
  • Bilingual FR / DE; the language is chosen in the embed's address, with a fallback to French.
